Gain solid ground on the fundamentals of DSLR Videography. This beginner course will guide you through the core techniques of DSLR filmmaking. During the course, you will learn how to apply the compositional skills of still photography to taking video. You'll also learn how to navigate the video-capturing features of your DSLR, choose the right gear for your filmmaking needs, and incorporate audio into your shoots. From framing shots to producing simple projects to spatial relationships, the skills you gain in this course will leave you ready and inspired to create high-quality, engaging film projects.

          Andrew Newlun, founder and CEO of Newtography LLC, has over a decade of experience in the world of digital media production. With over six years of educational experience, he has worked with numerous world-famous websites, including F-stop Lounge, Visual Wilderness, Petapixel, and one of Time Magazine's fifty best websites,

         In addition to online education, Andrew has had the privilege to teach digital media workshops around the world. In 2014 he was brought on as an ambassador in the Google Helpouts Education Program after being recognized by the company for accumulating over one million views on YouTube, where he produced a collection of free digital media education videos.

          Now married, Andrew has honed his focus to delivering quality media services and education in the Chattanooga area. Specializing in photography and videography, he is proud to produce quality digital content for many of the leading brands in the Chattanooga area. In addition to his roles producing digital content, he is also the athletic director and varsity boys head coach for the Chattanooga Patriots Basketball Program. Being heavily involved as a group leader at City Church of Chattanooga and a leader in the City Students youth ministry program, he enjoys constantly striving to leave a positive impact on his peers and upcoming generations of youth.
